around but wasn't touched by any adult film
company because it was stolen, was circulated on

Passengers Got Stranded At The Lagos Airport On Christmas Day As Ticket Prices Drastically Increased

A lot of passengers travelling out of Lagos where left
stranded today at the two domestic Lagos airports as
flight ticket fees where drastically increased. The air
ticket for an hour flight which was between N18,000
to N30,000, from N30,000 to N43, 000, depending
on the carrier.

Another fare on the Lagos-Enugu route, which was
less than 45 minutes, was N35, 000 as against the
usual fee of N20,000, while Lagos-Abuja route
attracted an average ticket price of N40, 000 against
its usual N24, 000.

Passengers where however heard murmuring
saying, Christmas is a time to share, and not a time
for airline operators to start exploiting money from
innocent passengers. So many where left stranded
as they could not make use of cash machines and
had only the exact planned ticket fees with them.

Synagogue Victims: TB Joshua Sponsors 42 Family Members To Nigeria For Christmas

Nigerian preacher TB Joshua is flying the families of
the victims of his church's collapse to Lagos to
spend Christmas and the new year with him.
"The prophet has invited the families of the
deceased to come and spend time out there at the
synagogue with the other church members for Christmas and very importantly… the end of the year
candlelight services," said church spokesperson
Kirsten Nematandani. Forty-four family members who had accepted the
offer would fly out on Christmas day and return on
January 2. It is believed 85 people from South Africa were
among those killed when a multi-storey guesthouse
attached to the church collapsed in Lagos on
September 12."The purpose is to spend time with
the families. As we know the families are going
through a difficult time… this is part of the process the church is undergoing," he said. The church would offer the bereaved families
spiritual and emotional support and they would have
a chance to interact with Joshua. He would fund the
entire trip including all transport, accommodation,
meals and visa applications. Nematandani said
Joshua had always been open about the incident and that he would "walk this journey with the families…
and continuously support them". Those families who were unable to visit the church
because they did not have documentation or already
had other plans were invited to come to the church
at a later stage, Nematandani said.The families
visiting the church would spend their time attending
services and programmes run by "evangelists and wise men". "They will have time to go to the prayer mountain
to have quality time as an individual and talking to
God." Nematandani expressed condolences on behalf of
the church for the families of the 11 victims whose
bodies had not yet been returned to South Africa. "We want to express messages of sympathy and
condolences to those families and hoping that the
time will come when those bodies will come
home."He said Joshua would not rest until the
bodies were sent home. Members of the church would spend time with those
families over the festive period to support
them."The church will be on the ground with them,
sending them love and support from TB Joshua, even
though it could be seen as a black Christmas," he
said.

My Father Made Me A Suicide Bomber,13 Year Old Tweeny Speaks Out.

A 13 year old suicide bomber, Zaharau Babangida, who was arrested by the police, shocked residents of Kano yesterday following her confession of how she was conscripted as suicide bomber by her biological father, Vanguard reports. Zaharau who is from Damataru in Yobe State told bewildered city dwellers in the wake of the twin bomb blast which rocked Kano textile market on December 10 that, "It began one day when my father took my mum and I to a forest in Bauchi where we met people claiming to be working for God".
"In the Bauchi forest I met some other girls who I guessed were my age mate and their leader told us to give our lives to God and enjoy the bounties of heaven... "I was not moved by the soul searching preaching of bounties in the heaven and it was at this point, their leader resorted to threat and intimidation to obtain my consent. We were shown a deep hole where the leader of the group threatened to bury us alive at a point if any of us refused to play along, and at another time he picked a big gun and threatened to shoot anyone who fails to obey his command." "It was at this point my father stepped forward to persuade me to play along, and told me to prepare to die as martyr and clear the way for him to join me soon". "When I was confronted with option of death, I chose to play along hoping to find an escape route one day". Speaking on the Kano bomb blast, Zaharau Babangida said, "I and two other girls were conveyed to Kano and quartered at the outskirt of the city by a man I could hardly remember his name, and this same man conveyed all of us to the market square and deployed us at strategic positions at Kwari market on the day we struck. "I was taken aback when my partners were shattered to pieces barely a second after they detonated. I then rushed out of the scene to pick a commercial rickshaw to a hospital in Dawanau area of the city for medical treatment,
and doctors were already attending to me when the driver of the Keke NAPEP resurfaced and showed me a metal object and requested to know whether it was mine of which I answered in affirmative. "I told him the object he dangled before me is a bomb and its mine, and in no time armed soldiers picked me from my sick bed to their headquarters." Meanwhile, a suicide bomber who rammed into a military check point in Bajoga, Gombe State in an attempt to perpetrate mass killings of troops and innocent civilians, yesterday failed to accomplish his mission, the Defence Headquarters' has said. In a statement signed by the Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade, the attempt by the terrorist to escape also failed as he was brought down by vigilant soldiers when he tried to flee after hitting a military Amoured Personnel Carrier with his IED laden Honda car. The explosives which failed to detonate have been evacuated and handed to the police. Also in Kano, security forces have raided the terrorists' hideout in Nasarawa Local Government Area leading to the arrest of bomb making experts who are already helping in the investigation into activities of bombers lately. In reaction to former President Olusegun Obasanjo's controversial autobiography titled - 'My Watch', Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, who is one of the personalities slammed by OBJ in the book, has fired his own shot. He expressed his disappointment in a piece titled - 'Watch And Pray, Watch And Prey', wherein he described Obasanjo as a compulsive liar. Obasanjo had written this about Prof. Soyinka, "For Wole, no one can be good, nor can anything be spot-on politically except that which emanates from him or is ordained by him. His friends and loved ones will always be right and correct no matter what they do or fail to do.
