Nollywood Actor Peter Bunor Is Dead
It is saddening to report that the Nigerian movie industry has lost
another veteran actor.
It was confirmed late last night that actor Peter Bunor has passed on.
His son, Peter Bunor Jnr made the announcement on Facebook
saying: ‘In the early hours of today,my father,friend,teacher,confidant
passed on.’
Lauryn Hill Misses Lagos Show, Explains Why
American singer Lauryn Hill has revealed she would not be in Lagos

Osinbanjo Speaks Out! Why Corrupt Leaders Must Be Dealt With
Vice-President-elect, Prof.Yemi Osinbajo, on Friday explained how the
Muhammadu Buhari administration would prosecute the anti-graft war,
saying that Nigerians must question sources of wealth of the rich.
Osinbajo, while delivering the keynote address at the Abuja edition of
The Platform, said the incoming administration would ensure zero
tolerance for corruption by reforming the Justice system.
He said within the last few years, what the country had experienced is
a situation where people get away with corrupt practices, noting that
going forward, the incoming government would make sure that corrupt
people suffer the consequences of their action.
He said when people are made to suffer the consequences of corrupt
practices, it would send a strong message to everyone that the era of
looting of the treasury was over.
He said, “We have always talked about zero tolerance for corruption
but it is also important that people are made to understand that there
will be consequence for corruption.

Husband Beats Four Months Pregnant Wife To Death
ENUGU – Tragedy struck at the weekend in Akpawfu village in Nkanu-East Local Government Area of Enugu state when Ndidi Ozoemena Nwankwo
was allegedly beaten to death by her husband, Ozoemena Nwankwo at about 10.05PM of October 17. Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command has launched an investigation into the heinous crime describing the suspect as an alleged serial wife beater. According to a statement released to newsmen by Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, he said:" Close family source informed the command that the suspect had been using his wife as punching bag. (PDP) has accepted the postponement of
the February general elections as
announced by the Independent National
Electoral Commission (INEC), reports Premium Times. The party commended INEC for showing
the courage to shift the elections after
