Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has once

Oil Marketers To Call Off Strike, Promise Fuel Lifting In Six Hours

There are reports that an agreement to begin
lifting petroleum products has been reached
between Major Oil Marketers Association of
Nigeria (MOMAN) and the Federal Government.

The lifting of petrol products is expected to begin
in the next 6 hours.

According to Magnus Abe, Chairman of the
Senate committee on petroleum resources, it
was revealed that the resolution was
reached after MOMAN's meeting with the
Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala,
Joseph Dawha, Group Managing Director of the
Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)
and major stakeholders in the oil and gas sector.

Similarly, the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and

Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and the
Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff
Association (PENGASSAN) have also
suspended their industrial strike action.

Kashamu Shuns Court As NDLEA Maintains Siege

Ogun State Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu, today
failed to appear in court in the suit opposing the
alleged plot to abduct him and extradite him to
the United States to face contentious drug-
related charges. Kashamu whom the NDLEA
officials have said will be arraigned in court
today, and whatever the court says will be
followed, refused to leave his home, as the
officials couldn't provide a warrant of arrest.

Though his lawyers where in court today to
defend him, the senator-elect never appeared
and has remained locked in his room.

It will be recalled that the senator's ordeal
started on Saturday, 23rd of May, when NDLEA
officials stormed his Lekki mansion around
4.30am to forcefully extradite him to the United
States.

After reading my previous article on
BellaNaija, a friend asked for my
opinion on certain church doctrines
and the adherence by members.

More specifically, she asked about
the Catholic Church's stance on
contraception. Here's how she put
it: 'My parents are catholic and the
Catholic Church frowns at
contraception. But my parents have only three
children, so I know that they did not adhere to
this doctrine.' At that point in time, I did not
know what to make of it – 'Hypocrisy' was the
only word that came to mind. It wasn't until two
weeks ago that I finally got my answer and it
came from an unflushed toilet.

I was at the doctor's lounge of one of the leading
hospitals in Lagos (or so it seems) and I decided
to make use of one of the restrooms. Now this is
the restroom for doctors – the principal
champions of health and hygiene – so you can
understand that I let my guard down when
entering the restroom. What greeted me
however, when I opened the door of one of the
restrooms, was too graphic to describe – a fetid
odor of feces mixed with decomposing urine of
varying concentrations slammed my nostrils just
in time for my eyes to behold the toilet bowl,
which was almost filled with brown mass. Gosh!

I screamed and slammed the door shut. I
opened the door of the second restroom. This
one was slightly better – It was filled with
golden-brown concentrated urine; the odor was
manageable. Holding my breath, I quickly
emptied the contents of my bladder into the
toilet bowl, contributing my little bit into the
commonwealth of decomposing urine. So
assaulted was I by the ordeal that I immediately
ran outside for some fresh air.

Beat FM, MTN & Naija FM Shut Down due to Fuel Scarcity

Radio stations Beat 99.9 FM as well as Naija FM
have shut down services very early tonight due to
the ongoing fuel/diesel scarcity.

Making the announcement on social media, the
radio stations stated that they will be closing at
8:00PM.

Beat FM mentioned on air that services will
resume on Sunday morning but that Monday
could not be guaranteed.

Arik Air Cancels Flights due to Fuel Scarcity

It looks like a lot more companies are being
affected by the prevailing fuel scarcity and even
the aviation sector is affected as Arik Air has
canceled most of its flights.
A sign was posted for customers to see and a
photo of it has since been making the rounds on
social media.
Yesterday MTN, Beat FM and Naija FM also
expressed a limit in production output due to
fuel scarcity and a need to ration available
resources.

mourn the death of veteran act, Femi Robinson
popularly known as the Village headmaster who
died at 75. The president also extended his
condolences to the Robinson's family through a

veteran actor and broadcaster, Mr. Femi
Robinson who has passed away at the age of 75.

who was especially loved and admired by the
public for his edifying role in the famous
Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) series, "The

memory by constantly upholding the values of

Ademinokan followed up with another question
about "duration" in the sack asking his wife,
Are women looking at how long a guy can last
in bed or is there something else they are
looking for?
To which she replied,

I believe in the pleasure not the duration. I
believe in quality over how
many hours.Normal women who have normal
s*x drives look for pleasure over the duration.
The truth is if you're talking to me about 2 , 3
hours and there are breaks between I can
understand that.
