December 5, 2014: Playhouse.com.ng just got it's hands on some EXPLOSIVE legal documents, from a
DEPOSITION taken from Lil Wayne's manager and
Cash Money Chief Visionary Officer Cortez Bryant. Lil Wayne and Cash Money are in the middle of a
lawsuit with Drake's FORMER managers. But in the
lawsuit, EXPLOSIVE information came out - showing
JUST HOW BAD the relationship is, between Lil Wayne
and Cash Money. Lil Wayne's manager, Cortes Bryant
explains during his deposition that he runs a management company that often has artists signed
to Cash Money. He also says he has ownership in
Aspire Music Group. Bryant is questioned about how Drake's music
royalties are paid ... to which he says he is unsure
how the money is distributed to the various people
owed money.
He then admits that his company has
requested to audit the financial records of Cash
Money on several occasions He says that his lawyer has tried to audit CASH
MONEY because he feels like they aren't paying them
what they are due .... and Drake has released 2
albums and they have not received ANY royalties
from either despite being owed a large percentage of
the money.
Bryant then explains that everyone has trouble
getting paid from Cash Money and says this is their
"MO" when it comes to paying people they owe
money too.
