eye-witness, the truck ran into two Keke's
parked with passengers.

dropped him. The management company,
Bankuli Entertainment led by Oluwaseun
Abisagboola claims it dropped the hit maker
because he has lost focus and direction on his
career path. The company sent in a press statement to

artiste and other human vices" puts out a
wrong impression about their company. 'The working relationship between

COMEDIAN BOVI JUMPS INTO THE CROWD AT PDP RALLY, GETS ROBBED IN THE PROCESS

Ace comedian Bovi got dared by a crowd at
PDP rally recently and he showed them he
got trill. The comedian narrated his ordeal in
the hands of men when he jumped into the
crowd. Bovi claimed he once fought a whole market
so the crowd is nothing to him. He later
jumped into the crowd who can be seen
tearing his pocket apart.

Rihanna Sits on the Mouth of a Shark for Harper's Bazaar

Rihanna lived up to her name in a new
photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar magazine
where she bravely swam with some
sharks. The 26-year-old is seen modeling a variety
of swimwear for the March issue, with one
image in particular showing her reclining in
the mouth of a fake great white shark.
Here are some excerpts from the
magazine's accompanying interview below; LAURA BROWN: Swimming with sharks is not only scary, it's a big metaphor. How
did you learn to swim with the sharks of
life? RIHANNA: I try my best to avoid the sharks of life, but I have had my share of
experiences with them, and in those cases I
just have to handle them accordingly. But I
do not swim with sharks … sharks swim
with sharks. LB: Did you watch Jaws as a kid? Did it scare you or thrill you? R: Both! It freaked me out because I was a beach baby, so every time a new Jaws
came out I would take months off from the
beach or just sit on the sand. If I happened
to get in the water, my dad would hum the
theme music, and I was right back out of it.
But that was really my fault because I was obsessed with Jaws. Steven Spielberg was
my childhood hero. LB: Would you say you're adventurous? What is the greatest adventure you've
been on, and what would you like to do? R: Greatest adventure? Are you kidding me? I just did a photo shoot in the midst of
sharks. It's going to be pretty hard to
beat that. LB: You are fearless with your style, but in what ways are you fearless in life? R: I think I'm like most people—we fear the unknown and the things that have yet
to come to pass, which are the very things
that don't deserve to be feared. When
you give God complete control, it's very
hard not to be fearless. LB: Being famous for a decade now, you would have had to develop a thick skin. In
what ways are you tough, and in what
ways are you sensitive? R: This skin has been developing since my first day at school. It didn't happen after
fame; I couldn't survive fame if I didn't
already have it. So sometimes the toughest
thing in life is to be vulnerable. I'm not
generally a sensitive person, but I tend to
be more sensitive toward others and what they're going through. I don't know if
that's the healthiest thing, but it's the
truth. Greatest adventure? Are you kidding me? I
just did a photo shoot in the midst of
sharks. It's going to be pretty hard to
beat that. LB: You're about to release a new album. How ambitious are you, having achieved so
much? Are you competitive at all? R: I am very ambitious! It's ridiculous how much I want to put on my plate, which
is already full. I am sensitive to what my
team is going through. Actually I'm lying.
They get no sympathy … we love what we
do!

Toke, Tayo Unveiled As Payporte Brand Ambassadors

Payporte has signed TV personality, Toke
Makinwa, and Big Brother Africa Season 9
runner up, Tayo Faniran, as its first ever
ambassadors. This is in its quest to reach its
target audience which comprises mainly
students, young urban professionals and mature adults.
The pair were introduced at an unveiling
event recently held in Lagos.
Speaking at the event, , Managing Director of
Payporte, Mr. Eyo Bassey, revealed that
opinion of people were sampled before the company decided to pick both Toke Makinwa
and Tayo Faniran, adding that people said a
lot of good things about the two big
celebrities during the process.
"Toke and Tayo are the right and befitting
personalities to drive our brand because Toke stands for quality which our brand
offers, while Tayo will generate mass appeal
for our brand because he is likable,
fashionable and trendy personality,"
Bassey stated.
Furthermore, Bassey noted: "Our price is our unique selling point and we don't stock
what we don't have in our store. We are
coming into the market to make sure the
market is properly served in Nigeria and so
any other countries we serve."
Speaking about the contact which will last for a year, Toke Makinwa, stated that it is a
marriage which both parties will generate
immeasurable benefit from considering high
number of friends she has on social media.
Tayo Faniran on his own part said people
know him for originality which Payporte also stands for.
Also speaking, Payporte Head of Social Media
Business Strategy, Mr. Benjamin Amu, said
that their target is to use the social media to
get their product across to people, adding
that what they intend to do in the future is to make sure they take over in the medium.

Davido has now done something similar. 5
year old, Samuel Ayodele David's
Christmas wish was to see Davido and this
came true as the artiste paid a surprise visit
to Samuel's house at Gbagada, Lagos. Samuel and his family were given lots of
gifts including household appliances and a
special goodwill message from Davido.
Samuel's mom, Mrs Olumayowa David was
very happy and she thanked the entire team
and Davido for making her son's holiday wish come true and wished them an amazing

D’banj debunks Reports that Amber Rose Walked Out Of His Party

Dbanj invited American video vixen, Amber
Rose to host his 10th year anniversary party.
However, his fans, particularly those who
went because of Amber Rose didn't like the
fact that the superstar just spent 7 minutes
on stage. Neither did she entertain them with her famous dance moves which she usually
puts up on Instagram. Reports also claim that
Amber Rose angrily walked off the stage.
Dbanj has however debunked such reports
through his publicist, Bukky Karibi-Whyte,
who issued the statement below: 'My Dear Media Friends that attended our
event. I am sending this email to clear the air
on some stories that circulated regarding
Amber Rose leaving D'banj's Party.
'Please be advised that Amber Rose DID
NOT storm out of the venue as indicated by some blogs. She arrived in Nigeria that same
evening from another show in Amsterdam
(5.50pm), went straight to her hotel, and then
eventually came as D'banj's date to the
party. 'Amber Rose did leave early
because she was tired (long flights) and was escorted back to her nearby hotel by
D'banjs entourage and security.

Neymar Excited Over Messi’s Partnership

Neymar believes a better understanding
with Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi is the
primary reason for their free-scoring form
so far this season.

Boko Haram attacks soldiers in Niger, wounds five

Niamey - Boko Haram militants clashed on
Friday with soldiers in Niger, who were
reinforcing border positions to fend off the
insurgency that is spreading from Nigeria
into neighbouring states, officials in Niger
said. At least five local soldiers were wounded,
they said. The fighting is taking place in the
southeastern region of Diffa where Chad has
sent hundreds of troops to help Niger take
on Boko Haram at its long, porous border. Violence erupted when Boko Haram fighters,
who have seized swathes of territory in
Nigeria, attacked the Niger town of Bosso
from the neighbouring Nigerian town Malam
Fatori, a military source said. Also read: The origins of Boko Haram Niger and Chadian troops were holding their
positions in the town, he said. A second source told Reuters by telephone,
"There is heavy weapons fire from both
sides. The fighting is intense and we have at
least five injured in our ranks." Boko Haram, which wants to set up an
Islamic emirate in northern Nigeria, has
emerged has the worst threat to Nigeria
security as the nation, Africa's top oil
producer and biggest economy, heads to a
presidential election on Feb. 14. The militants are also increasingly
threatening neighbouring Chad, Niger and
Cameroon, prompting regional leaders to
come up with a joint plan to defeat them. Chad has deployed some 2,500 soldiers to
neighbouring Cameroon and Niger as part of
this effort. Niger's parliament is due to vote
on Monday on a proposal by the government
to send its troops into Nigeria to fight Boko
Haram.

Morocco have been banned from the next two editions of the Africa Cup of Nations after failing to host this year's tournament.

The Confederation of African Football (Caf)
also fined Morocco US$1m (£650,000) and
ordered them to pay 8m euros (£5.9m) in
damages. Morocco had missed a deadline last year to make a final decision on whether or not they
would host the tournament. They had expressed concerns over the
outbreak of the Ebola virus in Africa. Equatorial Guinea were named a replacement
host for the 16-team event, while Morocco -
who had qualified as hosts - were expelled
by Caf. Morocco had asked for the tournament to be
delayed until 2016, but this request was
rejected. Ghana and Ivory Coast contest this year's
final on Sunday. Caf said in a statement: "The executive
committee considered that, contrary to what
the Royal Moroccan Football Federation cited,
force majeure cannot be accepted for the
benefit of the federation." Caf announced the decision to suspend
Morocco on the same day they fined hosts Equatorial Guinea US$100,000 (£65,000) for
crowd trouble during Thursday's Africa Cup
of Nations semi-final loss to Ghana. Tunisian Football Association president Wadie
Jary was also banned from all activities by Caf on Friday. That followed Caf's ultimatum for the
Tunisian FA to apologise for accusing the
body of cheating or be banned from the 2017
Africa Cup of Nations.
